With more than a thousand employees, the second group of magazines in France and subsidiary of the European leader in the sector (Gruner Jahr) chose to gather his forces and his titles ("here", "Current woman", "Geo", "Capital", "TV recreation", etc.) on the same site. So far mounted on four addresses, mainly in the 17earrondissement of Pariset in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Prisma press finally chose, after a few false starts, the commune of Gennevilliers in Hauts-de-Seine, to its new location. The proximity of the terminus of line 13 of the métro (Gabriel Péri) has prevailed before any other argument.
Instead of a custom-designed building, the company slips in a tertiary building "in white" by the Nexity proponent. As a head of general services, points out a few "taker" adaptations were requested and are about to be achieved, in particular the creation of a 140 seat auditorium with Cree last equipment and an ad hoc company located on the ground floor restaurant. The last level and its terraces will be a priori restricted to management. For a surface of approximately 22,000 square metres, equivalent to the space occupied by the Parisian sites, the cost of housing should decline significantly compared to the current balance. For its part, the municipality of Gennevilliers is pleased to welcome a new dynamic sector capable of creating new settlements and vocations.

Tertiary renewal
The new facility took place on a part of the site of the old factories Chausson, company yesterday well known in the automotive sector, which the last production site in Gennevilliers closed its doors in 2000. The concerted development (ZAC) Barbusse-Gabriel-peri area, created after the fact, consists of a few tertiary buildings including those on which Prisma press threw his vest. The Agency of architecture Jean-Paul Viguier, in charge of their implementation, refers in speaking of "Advanced Metro" sector when the direction of the Prisma group and the Town Hall the appoint more readily "heart of the Seine". The site through this three buildings arranged around the perimeter of a triangular parcel, connected on the ground floor by a large garden and passages from the first floor. All rises on four levels, in compliance with the regulations of urban planning, and now favors a main entrance to meet required by the group cohesion in providing security and readability. It is based on two levels of basement representative about 420 places of parking for cars and 100-seat motorcycle, everyone is not a follower of the Metro...
No doubt the architect Jean-Paul Viguier was more "media" commands to cite that the siege of France television in edge of river Seine in Paris (15th). But it is better placed to adapt this tertiary programme undercover with the requirements of the Prisma group. His expertise lies in design, always elegant, always careful towards. Here articulated simple forms make up a frank and dark figure with the alignment of the streets. Homogeneous facades combine with the same nu glass and metal rhythms that vary depending on the floors. High and even very high environmental quality (HQE) criteria are of course being implemented, with access to natural light as its main objective. On trays of 18 metres wide and 1.35 metre classical frame, open or partitioned offices will develop daylight behind facades alternating glazing, shadow-box (box exterior glass) and bottom sheet and Brown metal concealing nose of slab, false floors and suspended ceilings. With metal fins, arranged according to the guidelines, will allow the control of the sunshine on the exposed faces. Surrounded by residential buildings, the former industrial site returned and in the community without déparer. Clean and precise, developed architecture fits into its environment while enhancing it, attentive to the comfort of its occupants. Gennevilliers launches, in opposite, the creation of an eco-district. A promise of renewal and urbanity to the former industrial and port of the Hauts-de-Seine commune can only confirm Prisma press in its choice of location.
